Observations et histoire de la classification de la description
Classified as a form of oberthueri Butler by Eltringham (1912, 1916). This taxon is confused with the variety confluens Shouteden. The type locality of this taxon indicates that it is a synonym of oberthueri and not of the subspecies laetopicta Rebel. Classified by Pierre & Bernaud (2014) as a synonym of oberthueri.
