Observations et histoire de la classification de la description
Homonym of buxtoni Butler. Distant, in his description of insignis, notes that this taxon was described under the name buxtoni by Hewitson, but that it must be invalidated due to homonymy with buxtoni Butler. Classification as a synonym of insignis by Distant confirmed by Godman (1885), Holland (1896), Aurivillius (1898) and all subsequent authors.
