Observations et histoire de la classification de la description
Butler (1894) classifies anemosa Hewitson as a synonym of arcticincta. Classified as a variety of anemosa by Aurivillius (1898, 1906), or even as an aberration. Classified as a form of anemosa by Eltringham (1912–1916), distinguished only by the narrowness of the hindwing margin. Classified as a synonym of anemosa in the Pierre & Bernaud catalog (2014).
